EXPERIENCING MARINE RESERVES
Our senior students completed an indepth study of marine reserves. We have New Zealand's newest marine reserve on our back doorstep. The enviroment we live in is extremely important to our community so we take advantage of all the wonderful things it has to offer as often as we can.
Our Hall Opening - 2006
In 2006 our school had our official hall opening ceremony. We were very lucky to have Helen Clark, our Primeminister, to officially open our hall for us.

You sure do have talent Parua Bay!! Most impressed with the great organisation of the night as well. Thanks so much to Miss Harris and everyone who helped with this event. The Kindergarten children were so excited to be invited to enter and would have loved to do 100 songs!! Getting it down to 2 was hard work! We were very proud of our Kindergarten children as well as the amazing children of Parua Bay School.
The talent quest was hugely enjoyed by adults and children alike..well done Miss Harris- you have talent too!
What talented children we have at our school & kindergarten. Well done to all the performers - it would have taken a lot of courage to perform in front of such a large audience.
